Process optimization for refinery

Alfa Laval offers process optimization services for refineries. Over 40 years ago, Alfa Laval were first to market with innovative heat exchanger solutions for the refinery market and today we have delivered more than 4,500 high-efficiency heat exchangers to all different refinery processes, all around the world. Based on our waste experience, we can optimize the heat- & mass balance and hydraulics in your refinery processes, utilizing the capabilities of our such heat exchangers. This will provide you with the best techno-economical solution with the longest operating interval in-between maintenance needs.

Refinery process optimization benefits

By involving Alfa Laval already in the conceptual design phase of your project, our process optimization solutions will unlock opportunities not available in conventional process designs. Look at the movies to see what we can do for your refinery!

Our collaboration models

We offer different models to collaborate with your process engineers or appointed consultants, engineering company or licensor to make sure the process efficiency of your new investment is maximized already during the conceptual design stage. We have experience ranging from various types of consultancy agreements to full partnership agreements. With a partnership agreement, we do not charge for our process optimization services, and there is no cost if your project is not approved for implementation.
